Hudson, pubâ€" iisher of the Hespeler Herald for the past 18 years, died at his home here late Tuesday afternoon. ‘The late editor died at the age of 57 followâ€" ing an illness of Ave months. Born in Walkerton in 1878, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Hudson, he received his early education there. For some years be taught 3«» at Eden Grove, Gesto and in Heapeler, where he was assistant principal for several years. He entered newspaper work with the Walkerion Sibscope, later publishing the Holstein Leader, In 1911 he purchased the Beamsville Expres; and after five years assumed the editorship of the Haldimand Adâ€" vocate. Cayuga. He returned to Hesâ€" peler in 1918 to edit the Hespeler Merald. In November, 1911. he marâ€" ried Miss K. is Coutes of Toronto, who had taught on the staff of the Hespeler Public School at the same time as the late publisher.
