"w--- v“ ,_ The village people .are deeply concerned over the fact that three times of late a robber broke into the home of Mr. John Ziegler, an old man of 81 years, who lives alone. Mr. Ziegler gets old age pension. The last two times the thief got the pension money and the first time about three months ago took a sum of money that Mr. Ziegler had saved and had hid upstairs in a trunk. On Tuesday night last week the same thief broke into the house again by sawing out a panel of the back door.‘ Desp te his advanced years, Mr. Ziegler put up quite a iight and is all battered up, his face and hands being badly bruised. The provincial Bolice were notified and investigated ut up to now have not found the culprit. This week Mr. Ziegler left his home to live with Mr. and Mrs. Herb Schneider on their farm about two miles south of the village. Mr. and Mrs. Grub of Waterloo bought his property and took possession this week. Grown crest of PIS-nuts: Our village too can boast of pen- nut, growers in the persons of Messrs.
