Choice butcher steers and heifers were quoted at from $8 to $8.50, and an odd extra quality beef type were priced up to $8.75. Plain and medium butchers from $7 to $7.50. Bulls, choice, $6 to $6.50. Calves easier and prospects lower at $11.50 tops. Sheep and lambs steady. Hogs still unsettled, with bids 25¢ lower at $10.65 off cars.
