On Sunday, Feb. 1, Mr. Goforth of Toronto preached in the Livingâ€" ston Presbyterian Church He is a son of Dr. Goforth, the noted Presâ€" byterian missionary to China. Mr. Goforth spent part of his life in China with his parents and can give some very interesting descriptions of life in that country. His parents were present during the Boxer Reâ€" bellions and still bear scars of that troubled time. Dr. Goforth, his father, left Toronto on Feb. 8 to zo to China as chaplain to General Féng‘s army. It is to be regretted that a good open air rink cannot be provided on the local dam. During the past week men have been cutting ice on the dam in the village.
