Wreath presentations will be made by local area schools and various community members. Come honour those who have fallen in the name of Canada. REMEMBRANCE DAY THEY SHALL GROW NOT OLD AS WE THAT ARE LEFT GROW OLD; AGE SHALL NOT WEARY THEM NOR THE YEARS CONDEMN. AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE MORNING, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM. This year, when you see a local Legion representative promoting the Annual Poppy Campaign, please give generously. Poppy funds go towards helping our veterans and seniors as well as several others in the community. The Brooklin Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion is a local long standing organization. Funds raised through Legion initiatives go to a wide variety of charities. From children's sports and school programs to senior's medical services, the Legion has been behind countless donations for the betterment of our community.
