Butler thought on Sunday evening after spending . a couple hours in the Berlin police cells. He had been arrested about 4 o‘clock on _ Sunday afternoon on a commitment warrant served by Chiel O‘Neill, the young man having failed to pay a fine of $1,00 and $2.75 costs imposed two weeks ago by the Magistrate after having been found guilty on a charge of diserderâ€"‘ y ~ conduct. : s Butler has been in Bresliau for some time and on Sunday came to Berlin. Chief O‘Neill spotted him and he was taken to the cells. About seven o‘clock, and fifteen minutes after the Chief had ~seen Butler in thecell it was found that the bird had flown.
