Church, Church St., on Sunday. Rev. R. J. Head preached both morning and evening. _ The church was prettily decorated. Rev. Father Lehman preached a German sermon in St. Maty‘s church on Sunday morning and Father Fenneâ€" sey preached in English in the evening. Special Easter music was rendered by the choir and the church was splendâ€" idly decorated. The cbhurch was crowded to the doors. The decorations of flowers and evergreens and presence of singing birds lent to the pleagure of the day. In the morning Dr Williamson deliverâ€" ed a very impressive Easter sermon: Bishop Milton Wright cccupied the pulpit of the Alma St. U. B. church on Sunday evening and will preach again this evening at 8 o‘clock. He presided at the meeting cof the Ontario Conferâ€" ence which closed at New Dundce on Saturday. There were few changes made by the stationing committee. Rev. A. R. Stoltz will continue as pasâ€" tor in Berlin for another year. Miss Mabel Williamson, daughter of Rev. Dr. Williamson, received by mail on Saturday a silver medal which she won a year ago at Alma Ladies Colâ€" lege for general proficiency. â€" The medal is a very handsome one of solid silver, with an engraving of Lord and Lady AMinto in the centre and this inâ€" scription around the margin:â€"Earl Minto 1. C. M. G. Governor General ofCanada and Cointess of Minto. Miss Williameon is to be congratulated on winning so valuable a prize, betokenâ€" ing as it does very marked ability in her part.
