MEDICAL HEALTH OFFICERS REPORT. To the Mayor and the Council of the Town of Waterloo : GEXNTLEMEX, â€"The work of the Board of Health this year has been very satisfactory. _ There has bee perfect harmony between the memâ€" bers and very little friction with the public. With the exception of a little disagreement between the board . and the finance committee of the council, probably due to a misunderstanding, all has gone smoothly. _ The fi{xyor vacated the chair, which was taken, upon motion, by Mr. Bauer Eatly in the year there was a mild epidemic of measles,there having been epidemics it the abjoining school secâ€" tions of the Township of Waterloo for the last two years. There have been reported to me 13 cases of diphtheria, 1 proving fatal ; 11 cases of scarlet fever and 2.cases of typhoid. _ During the last six months there has been only one case of diphtheria and one case of scarlet fever. We have there fore the satisfactory assurance that for the last half year acute infoctious disâ€" ea~es have been practically unknown in the town.
