He went to the North West last August. The remains will‘ be brought back and interred in the cemetery on Saturday. The funeral will take place in the forenoon at half past nine ffrom the residence of his father, about two and a balf miles east of Waterloo. Schafer,1} miles west of Berlin. The falling of vthe tree was heard for railes distant. The tree was 135 feet long and 74 feet in diameter at the butt end. 7 logs and 3 cords of wood were cut out of the tree. The logs in all measured 6273 feet, the thickest one 10 feet long, measured 1,â€" 200 feet and weighed 6,330 lbs.â€"Com.
