He was laid to rest beside his father, mother, brother and wife, on the old ftarm where he labored hard in bis youthiul days, known as Butters‘ Ceme:â€" tery. The remains were taken to the Presbyterian church where the services were conducted. â€" The large and comâ€" modious building was filled to the door. Rev Mr Matheson, bhis pastor, preacned a fine discourse,« The pall bearers were : Messrs Jobhn McArthur, Dagald MeCorâ€" mick, C. C. Jawmes, Donald Graham and N. McKinvon, of Priceville, and Mr Joln Boyd, of Flesherton. Deceased leaves as chief mourners a widowed wife, 5 sisters and two brothers, the sisters are Mrs H McLellan, Glenelg Centre; Mis Muir and Mrs â€"â€"â€"â€"â€", (Jessie) of Goderich, and Mrs McGowan and Alrs â€"â€"â€"â€", (Christena) of Cleveâ€" land ; the brothers are Alex of Rochester, and Angus of California. Four of the sisters were in attendance at khe funeral and one brother, Alex. Thus ended the earthly career of another fellow citizen. . P.
