Mary Anne Pyne died at her home, Grimsby Beach, on Saturday evening after a lengthy illness. Born in Wellington, Somerset, England, a daughter of the late Joseph and Charlotte Pyne, she was in her 80th year. A resident of Toronto for 40 years, she spent her summers at Grimsby Beach Park, and for the last few years had made the park home her permanent place of residence.

Surviving are two sisters, Miss Nellie Pyne and Mrs. Annie Cox, both of England. She was a member of Trinity United Church in Grimsby.

Funeral services were held from the Stonehouse Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby.
