Peaking in the playoffs with three wins The tyke red Hound Dogs, sponsored by CGI Group, started off the season slowly, but with a lot of hard work and enthusiasm, they were on fire by the time the playoffs rolled around. The Hound Dogs were howling as they won their first three playoff games. The coaches enjoyed the fact that they had a great group of players and parents. Regular season champs The atom white 'Growlin' Gators, sponsored by Broere-Tweed. BACK ROW: Michael Rebello, Alex Tweed, Adriene Lischer, Luke Heaslip, Michael Rocha and Roy Kitching (assistant coach). MIDDLE ROW: Wayne Hogan (coach), Jordan Tooth, Braheem Shaban, Chris Kuchicak, Sean Burkett, Michael Mayer, Joey Hogan and Tony Rebello (manager). FRONT ROW: Peter Sabatino, Scott Brownson, Spencer Buck, Graham Kitching and Darryl Duke. ABSENT: Daniel Klub. Joey Hogan won the scoring championship and other Gators play­ ers to hit the top ten were Graham Kitching, Braheem Shaban and Scott Brownson. Other high­ lights included winning their own Friendship Tournament, held over the March Break. They could­ n't quite pull off the same feat in the Grimsby March Break tournament, but two players did receive player of the game honours -- Graham Kitching and Luke Heaslip. TOURNEY CHAMPS: the Roltek Wings were the novice champions at the Orangeville House League tournament held over the March Break. BACK ROW: Alex Boot, Justin DiTrani, Tyson Theaker, Shane Clark, Zachary McRae, Garrett Mott (MVP), Connor Gamble and Brendan Gamble. FRONT ROW: Anthony Farrow, Alex Huras, Chris Patterson, Daniel Desjardins, Philip Wrobel and Thomas Canning. BACK ROW COACHES: Rocco DiTrani, Paul Mott, Mark Canning and Greg Gamble. SUCCESSFUL TOURNEY OUTINGS: Oakville Multi-Line Leasing novice Vikings recently had a very successful tournament run, winning the Hamilton Joe Hagei Memorial and finishing second in the Walter Gretzky tournament in Brantford.
