Jonkman ADVERTISING FEATURE Oakville is indeed lucky to be the newest home of Nevada Bob's Canada Inc., Canada's largest professional golf store. It's easy to see why this chain is so popular and why the company just keeps on growing so quickly. What started out as four stores in Calgary, Alberta in June 1997, has expanded to 32 corporate stores in the west by December 1998. Nevada Bob's now calls Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia home as well, along with Washington State. Ontario also has 18 Nevada Bob's. These, however are all franchised with the exception of one other corporate location, in Toronto, with the Oakville location being the sec ond. The corporate stores are a publicly owned company traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. "We're very proud to be expanding our next corporate location into Oakville," says regional manager Bill McCullagh. "And we expect to expand even further to four new areas such as Burlington." Nevada Bob's is well-known for their value-priced golf merchandise. It's their commitment to high quality and competitive prices that has made them so successful. Anyone who is interested in golf will find what they need at Nevada Bob's. Photo by Peter J. Thompson Nevada Bob's is well-known for their value-priced golf merchandise. For exam ple, a seven-piece starter set retails from $129.99. Besides superior service and quality merchandise, Nevada Bob's offers many incentives for the golfer to visit the store. They even encourage begin ners to get into the game. "We're introducing a Half-Back Program for juniors and beginner adults," says McCullagh.
