The marriage of Marie Regena Shumsky, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. N. Shumsky, Beamsville, and Theodore Gayowski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gayowski, Grimsby, was solemnized at St. Mary's Church, Grimsby, on Nov. 10th, at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Father Zydan and Rev. N. Shumsky officiated.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Rev. N. Shumsky. She was attractive in white chantilly lace over satin, with ballerina-length full skirt, wearing a fingertip veil attached to a Juliet cap of white velvet trimmed with rhinestones. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of starlite roses, fleur d'amour and shattered carnations.

The maid of honour, Miss Stella Shumsky, sister of the bride, wore white nylon marquisette over taffeta, ballerina-length full skirt gown, carrying a colonial bouquet of better times roses and carnations with matching floral headdress. Bridesmaids were Miss Helen Kondziolka and Miss Mary Gulewich, both wearing white nylon marquisette over taffeta, ballerina-length full skirt gowns, carrying colonial bouquets of rapture roses and carnations with matching floral headdresses.

The best man was Mr. Michael Drapchak, of W. Dearborn, Mich., and the ushers were Mr. Walter Shumsky, Toronto, and Wally Gayowski, Grimsby.

Mrs. Shumsky, mother of the bride, received in a gown of blue lace over taffeta with black accessories, and corsage of garnet roses.

Mrs. F. Gayowski, mother of the groom, received in a steel blue crepe gown with black accessories and corsage of garnet roses.

After the reception at the Village Inn, the young couple left on a short trip through the United States. For travelling the bride was attired in a black crepe gown with lace jacket, Black Persian lamb shortie coat, and her corsage was of pinocchio roses.

The bride was the recipient of many beautiful gifts.

Out of town guests were from Winnipeg, Toronto, Hamilton, West Dearborn, Mich., Pittsburgh, Pa., and Saginaw, Mich.
