Friday, March 26, 1999 THE OAKVILLE BEAVER 19 The Oakville Beaver is proud to bring you Students in Newspapers, with editorial written by Mr. Richardson's Grade Seven English class from River Oaks School, and advertisements based on drawings by Mrs. Davies' Grade Three class from Pilgrim Wood School. The Oakville Beaver supports education by involving students in the production of the news paper. Recently, two Advertising students from Sheridan College, Craig Workman and Kris Anderson, created an advertising section called "Meet the Manager" that appeared in last Friday's paper. They also contributed with the in-class sessions involved in the preparation of this fea ture. Amy Khalid and Stephanie MacLellan, two co-op students from St. Thomas Aquinas High School, are currently working at The Oakville Beaver and also contributed with the production and photog raphy of this publication. Please support the local businesses appearing in this feature as they have sponsored this educational project through their advertis ing. Students Tyler S. and Dejan M. do not have ads appearing in the newspaper due to illness, but did contribute in the classroom sessions.
