Today (Wednesday) the majority of the 64 booths will set up ready for the o p e n i n g t o m o r r o w (Thursday). The show will run at the Oakville Arena from Thursday June 13 to Sunday June 16. Homeshow '74 is open from 1 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. It opens at 10 a.m. Saturday and continues until 10.30 p.m. On Sunday the Homeshow opens at 1 p.m. and closes at 6 p.m. Senior citizens will be admitted to the show free of charge. Admission for adults (16 years of age and over) is $1. Admission for children (16 years of age or under) is 50 cents. Admission for children accompanied by adults is free. Homeshow '74 will be officially opened on Thursday at 7 p.m. by Oakville Mayor Harry Bar r e t t along with representatives of the Oakville Jaycees. The carnival is a special attraction for youngsters who can take a d v a n t a g e of t he numerous rides that are offered. Homeshow '74 has more to offer than home ideas. Every afternoon on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 2.30 p.m. Frank and Joseph Hair Stylists of Oakville in conjunction with the Sagio Ha i r d r e s s i n g Academy of Toronto will p r e s e n t a f a sh i on p r e s e n t a t i o n c o ­ ordinating the latest hair styles with fashions and fashion accessories for the total fashion look. Each presentation will last from one to one-and- a-half-hours. Friday at 7.30 p.m. the Oakville Karate and Kung Fu Studio will c o n d u c t k a r a t e demonstrations. Saturday night the Sheridan Stompers will e n t e r t a i n in t he Homeshow '74 Lounge in the Pine Room. The lounge is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Oakshore Music Centre will provide organ concerts at various times during the Homeshow '74 program. Dip'n Strip, which has its head office at 305 Robinson St., offers an exclusive method of stripping furniture which leaves no stains or burns on wood surfaces. Furniture is totally immersed in 1,000 gallon vat s of non-caustic stripping solution. When the old finish has dissolved, a stream of water washes off the stripping solution. Then a neutralizing agent is applied and it too is removed by water.
