Beloved wife of the late Raymond George Richardson. Loving s te p -m o th e r o f Randy (deceased) and Carl (Susan). Cherished grandmother to Jennifer (Carl Torode). Predeceased by b ro thers Donald and John, and survived by siblings Anne, Helen (Al) and Bruce. Lois will be missed by her great g randdaughter and many nieces and nephews. Lois will always be remembered fo r her cheerful presence, warmth, and care for her family. A Celebration of Lois' life w ill be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, on Sunday April 29, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation being held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow. SLAYER, Karen (nee Hoey) Passed away with her family by her side at Oakville Hospital on Saturday, April 14 in her 65th year. Predeceased by her parents, Wilson and Doreen (McKay), sister Diane (Cunningham), her precious granddaughter Zoe and sister-in-law Jacky. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, husband Ralph, children Adam (Ally Yang), Linda (Mike Kirch) and her beautiful grandchildren Milo and Grayson. She w ill also be greatly missed by her sister Louise and husband Gary Loader, her brother Brent and wife Teri, brothers-in-law Gary and Wayne Slayer as well as numerous relatives and friends. Karen worked as a Lab Manager at Pinchin Environmental and after many happy years retired. She enjoyed spending tim e w ith family and friends and traveling the w orld. We were tru ly blessed to have her in our lives and will miss her wonderful smile and infectious laughter. As per her wishes her body has been donated to the Division of Anatomy at the University of Toronto fo r others to learn. The foundation and the annual family reunion weekend were very special to her.
