This June, when school ends, through the end ol July, Hustler Snowboards & Skateboards will be handing out discounts to students who bring Free Waterfront Festival tickets Oakville Place is giving away O a kv ille Waterfront F estival buttons to the first 300 shop­ pers who spend $75 from now to June I Ith. Shoppers spending $75 or more can bring their receipts to the Concierge Kiosk for a free Waterfront Button, which provides admission to all festival activities. Shoppers can also purchase a ral'lle ticket to win a 1999 Ford Mustang Coupe. Tickets are only $5. Draw will be held June 27th at 5 p.m. in Coronation Park. The Oakville Waterfront Festival runs June 25lh-27th. their report card into the store. Discounts range depending on how well the students did academically this school year. If you attained a 60 to 69% grade point average , you get a 10% discount on all merchandise, a 70 to 79% grade point average gets you a 15% dis­ count, while an 80% or higher grade point aver­ age, will receive a 20% discount. "There was a promotion going on in Florida where a similar shop was handing out discounts to kids who did well in their Physical Education pro­ grams," said Hustler owner David Walsh. "I thought, why not lake it a step further and reward kids who do well overall." Kids should come in not only with their report card, but also with ID for proof of identity. The promotion is open to all ages from elementary sch(K)l through to post-secondary students. "Skateboarders have had a bad rap for being a bit fringy, like we don't really care," said Walsh. "This is an opportunity to show that we're not all bad and it's a way to encourage hard work in school." Hustler Snowboards and Skateboards is locat­ ed at 111 Kerr St. We want your photos!
