The team was comâ€" posed of several girls from last year‘s team and a few girls to whom playing on a strange floor |and against a different team was a new experience. The first quarter saw Grimsby ahead by a score of !3â€"2 but Beamasville girls exerted themselves and halfâ€"time found the l-ron was 7â€"4 for the green and snld. What was the matter with |Grimsby? A 3 point lead shouldn‘t have been too hard to overthrow. \Mowever, those forwards couldn‘t seem to sink that ball and the final score was 15â€"9 for BH.V.8. | ‘The forwards who played were: .AINM Klowak, high scorer with 4 points and a foul; Elizabeth Towâ€" sky, 3 points and a foul; Irene iStepowy, 2 points and 2 fouls; and Pat Harrison. mlru"s.m:lmmnlor Grimaby ‘s Junior was :y«l against BH.V.8. on the floor last Wednesday the 13th. This game was only an exhibition game because Beam«â€" ville is not in the same league as GHM.S., but they give our teams a chance for more games during text, "On Stage," and its title was "Shall We Join The Ladies?" It was one of those "whodunit" thrilâ€" lers that left the conclusion to the audience. ‘The leading role was portrayed by Allen Bentley and the rest of the players cast from Grade 12. It was an enjoyable performâ€" ance and all those who took part portrayed their parts well. ‘The next play, to be cast from Grade 11, will be put on next week. Do attend the mectings, members. A play is not much good if there is no audience to enjoy it! _Your magazine staff had its first meeting last Tuesday afterâ€" noon, and the plans are made to begin assembling the material in order to have our magazine ready to go to the press about the end of March. As you‘ve heard before there are three competitions in which everyâ€" one may enter. There are some course, the winning essays, poems and drawings will be published in vour magazine. The deadline for your contributions has been set as March first. There is still a month left, so come on students, "Studeâ€" mus" is your year book, let‘s see some of your work in it. Your work for the contributions is to be handed in to your form reporters. Pleas&coâ€"operate with the magazine staff by having your work in by the deadlineâ€"March first. Don‘t forget the prizes. Where are the members of the Camera Club? Where are the snaps that were to be taken and kept in an album for future years, and for this year‘s "Studemus"? Will the students in this Club please come out to the next meeting and bring their pictures with them, as we would like to see this book getting made up. ar, 2 points; Pat Harrison Mann and Loln (THE TRIUMVIRATE) advi Waterdown lineup Crace _ Melntyre, Ruby Albina Klowak, high # points; Fiizabeth Hnts; Shirley MeVic» Irens Mtepowy, and THE GR: is not available. victorious, but P"""* |" o. and | were scored baskets throws bgnalh e no Jucky. ”,Mr mm:m%u our fort ""‘“"‘Mmmmmu“ '"W‘Y“.““"’“mwm.btdn- an uphill held a winning MATE!N pounds for G.M.S.
