McCusker POLICE SUPPORT MAHAFFY: Halton Regional Police Association administrator Paul LaCourse and president Bill Henshaw present Debbie Mahaffy, mother of Leslie Mahaffy, with a $1,500 cheque for the French/Mahaffy Victims Integrity Fund. The fund was established over a year ago by Maurice Charbonneau, principal of S t Francis Secondary School in S t Catharines where Kristen French attended, and Greg Kelly, to assist the French and Mahaffy families in their legal battles in relation to video tapes seized during the investigation of their daughters' murders. Although the Supreme Court of Canada has refused to hear the families' case, the French and Mahaffy families still face outstanding legal bills and anticipate further legal costs due to the Supreme Court's ruling.
