Mrs. Alexander Aitken, 81, of 21 Head Street, Hamilton, died in the General Hospital Saturday.
The former Mabel Murray, she was born in East Flamboro, but lived in Hamilton for the last 50 years. She was a member of Erskine Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Aitken, whose husband predeceased her in 1925, is survived by 2 sons, W. Lloyd, Montreal,Quebec, and A. Murray, Hamilton; 5 daughters, Mrs. T.A.Rice, Hamilton; Mrs. D.E. Bothwell, Chatham; Mrs. C.V. Andrewes, Beamsville and Mrs. George J. McQueen, Hamilton; two sisters, Mrs. Albert E. McLean, Grimsby, Mrs. Edith Bush, Vancouver, B.C., 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
