He was a veteran of the Royal Canadian A ir Force as avionics/ weapons system technician w ork ing on fig h te r and m ilita ry aircraft. A fter leaving the military, he worked in the airline industry as an avionics electrician. He and a partner operated Universal Auto Electric. His passion was steam locomotives, motorcycles, aviation, spending time in his workshop and reading. He loved his fam ily and friends. An amazing, caring, gentle man of few words touched so many hearts. He will be truly missed by his wife of 59 years Eileen, his daughter Kealyn (B rian ), his son Kevin (Roberta) and son Glenn. Devoted grandad to Branden and Kelsey. Big brother to Keith, Craig and Ellen. "Uncle Johnny" to his nieces and nephews, treasured long-time friend of many. Cremation has taken place.
