George L. Peterson, of Cherry Beach, formerly of Hamilton and of Grimsby, died on Saturday in the Hamilton General Hospital.
He was born in St. Catharines, a son of Wilbert and the late Mary Peterson, and was a member of Leeming Carr Buffalo Lodge.
Surviving, besides his wife, the former Velma Knox, are a son, Wayne, and a daughter, Beverley; also his father, all of Cherry Beach. His mother predeceased him a few months ago. The body rested at the Stonehouse Funeral Home, Grimsby, where funeral service was held on Tuesday at 2 o'clock. Interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
