While it won't be the walls talking, these stories of days gone by will be told by Tomosky-Chambers and her husband, Larry Chambers, as they participate in the Doors Open Mil- ton event this coming weekend. On Sunday (October 2) from 10 am. to 4 p.m., the couple will welcome anyone interested to their home | for a tour and talk. The pair will be dressed in period clothing and will also be serving beverages and 5 treats from the Willson’s era, such . as cider cake and lavender cook- ies, which wife Anne may have very well baked in the brick oven that still stands in the home today. "l think it’s great to get this history out to the people,†said Tomosky- Chambers, a beekeeper who also sewes as the Milton Historical So- ciety secretary and board member. l, | Joining them for Doors Open will be Gloria Brown of the Historical 3 Society and fellow beekeeper Julie = Pare, who will also be dressed up in period clothing.
