"It's Timportant to know what the community was § like back then, and the pictures tell the story 80f significant elements of the town. All proceeds from calendar sales will be used to maintain the Waldie Blacksmith Shop on James Street, which doubles as the MHS office. The calendars, thch will be officially launched at the Milton Farmers’ Market on August 27, will retail for $10 each. Those who can’t make it to the market can pick up a copy at Waldie Blacksmith Shop, Home Hardware, Fitzgerald Insurance, the Flower Mill, Dr. D Phillips' office or Historic Lumber in Nassagaweya. The group acknowledged several individu- als who helped bring the calendar to fruition, including Dills, Brown, Judy Houston, John DUIgnan, Brenda Bousfield and Linda Cooper. The MHS is also planning other initiatives to mark next year's anniversaries, including a house tour and the launch of a book by Dills and John Challinor on lo«.al churches.
