Adam B. Spiers, aged 79, passed away Monday morning at West Haven Nursing Home, Winona, following a lingering illness. He was born in Peel County in 1871, and was a farmer in the district until 1925. He then moved to Winona, where he resided for 5 years. After his wife died in 1930, he went to live with his daughter, Mrs. Donald Beamer, of Grimsby, and had resided there ever since.

Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Donald Beamer; a son, Ingram Spiers, of Toronto; a brother and sister, R.M. Spiers and Mrs. Wm. Gouer, both of Toronto.

The body rested at the Stonehouse Funeral Home until Wednesday, when it was conveyed to the McClure Funeral Home in Brampton for services at 3 o'clock. Interment was made in Brampton Cemetery.

Rev. R.K. Lemkay conducted the services.
