The passing of John Adolphus Bowman, beloved husband of Georgina O'Brien Bowman, 137 St. Paul Street, St. Catharines, occurred on Friday night at the O'Brien Nursing Home, Grimsby, following an illness of 3 years.

In his 70th year, the late Mr. Bowman was born in Fruitland, being a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bowman, who were prominent residents of that locality.

He had been a resident of St. Catharines and vicinity for the past 40 years and his many friends will learn of his death with sincere regret. He was a former employee of the Ontario Construction Company.

The late Mr. Bowman was will known in Grimsby during the early part of the century, he being the coachman for some years for the late John Hewitt.
