Annual fundraiser Saturday, February 24 Halton Women's Place will be hosting its annual gala on Saturday February 24 and commemorate its 40th Anniversary as the only women's shelter in the Region. The Ruby Gala, sponsored by the Greg Kuchma Team, Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services, will feature "The Auctionista" who will emcee and lead the live auction and Fund A Need component of the evening. The Fund A Need will help raise much needed funds for the shelter's Public Education Program. The event will host more than 400 people with a cocktail reception, sit down dinner, open bar, live and silent auctions and two incredible draws where one can win a trip for two anywhere Air Canada flies and a one of a kind ruby ring, designed by acclaimed jewellery designer, Laura Tedesco.
