She is a Halton District School Board trustee, sits on the Oakville Spirit Awards com mittee and is co-ordi nator o f Earth Week Clean Up. Bill Shields: founded Safetynet Children & Youth Charities in 2007 after 30 years in the field o f social services. Safety- net helped over 2,500 fam ilies in Oakville, provid ing clothing, taking refer rals from homeless shel ters, providing underprivileged kids with free one-on-one tu toring, music lessons. Chris Stoate: founded, operated LaserNetworks for more than 25 years. Previous town council lor, past chair, Communi ty ArtSpace, (now Queen Elizabeth Park Commu nity & Cultural Centre). He is also director o f the Halton Learning Founda tion. Eve W illis: assisted in establishing the first Ronald M cDonald House in Canada, in Toronto, in 1983. Co-chair, Oakville New Hospital $60M capi tal campaign.
