Mississauga woman wanted in connection with thefts from seniors in Oakville and Burlington Hatton police are asking for the public's help in lo cating a Mississauga wom an wanted in connection with a string of thefts from seniors in Oakville and Burlington. Barbara Grabowska, 46, was arrested in mid-De cember 2017 and charged with eight counts of theft under $5,000. She was one of three in dividuals arrested follow ing a series of thefts, which started in November and targeted senior citizens, whose wallets or purses were stolen from shopping carts at grocery stores while the victims weren't looking. Police say Grabowska failed to attend a court ap pointment and now a war rant has been issued for her arrest. Grabowska is described as white, five-foot-three NEWS Suspect photo. and 140 pounds, with a dyed red ponytail and brown eyes. Police say she is known to dye her hair and wear disguises. She is believed to be in Mississauga around the Square One area, but is al so known to frequent other cities within the Greater Toronto Area.
