Oakville residents can now shop for their favourite spring bulbs and garden paraphernalia as nearby as Navy Street, where Cruikshank's has recently opened a spacious new store. Linda Ledgett, one of the owners of the Torontc business, tolc the Beavei that Oakville was the natur­ al choice foi its first expan sion venture for two rea sons: a lot o its steady cus tomers were located in the Oakville area and Oakville is known foi its wealth o beautiful gar dens. "Information is part of the service we offer," she adds. "You'll find that all of our staff are garden­ ers." Cruikshanks ships its mer- c h a n d i s e a c r o s s C a n a d a , making it particularly appealing for C h r i s t m a s gift giving. Donna Kish, manager of the Oakville store, says new bulbs and merchandise are arriving every day and the main contingent of spring-flowering bulbs should all be in stock by the week after Labour Day.
