She wore a matching braided halo and carâ€" ried yvellow roses and lily of the valley. At the home of the bride‘s parents, the bride‘s mother received in a gray crepe gown, deep crimson taffeta hat and corsage of red roses. She was assisted by the groom‘s sister, Fausâ€" tina MacKenzie, in sky blue crepe, matching straw hat and corsage of pink carnations. For her travelling costume, the bride chose a black and white check suit, black straw ocâ€"theâ€"face hat trimâ€" med with pink tulle, and black accesâ€" sories. Plans for the entertainment of Worthy Grand Matron, Mrs. Agnes Dean of Hamilton, Ont., at a luncheon on May 25, were discussed. Mrs. Cooke then served a very de licious lunch bringing a most enjoy able evening to a close. Following the adjournment of the business session a pleasant social hour was spent playing bridge and games.
