Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Argue and sons, Freddie and Douglas, leave this week for Ottawa to take up residence Mr. Argue was principal of Schuâ€" macher MHigh School for the past three years and was a memb:r of the teaching staff for eight years. He has. accepted a new position in . Otâ€" tawa. Before leaving Mr. Argue was Mr. and Mrs. Argue at Schumacher Rev. and Mrs. J. C. Thompson are being feted prior to their departure soon for Toronto. On Friday evening they were the guests of the Session of the Church and their wives at a deâ€" lightful banquet at the Airport hotel presented with a lovely siiver cigarâ€" ette case from the High School stuâ€" dents The High School Staff preâ€" sented Mr. Argue with a leather walâ€" let and last Wednesday evening at the Lion‘s Club weekly meeting Mr. Argue was presented with a Lion‘s Club ring. Their many friends; are sorry to see them leave here, for Schumacher is loosing â€" good citizens, but they will catry ~with them the best wishes of their many friends in their new sphere in Ottawa. Mr. E. C. Rodway succeeds Mr. Argue as principal of Schumacher High School. Mr. Rodway was on the staff three years ago, prior to enlistâ€" ing in the Air Force where he served as a Navigator Instructor. Prior to coming to Schumacher he was a member of the teaching staff at Kirkland Lake Collegiate Institute and Vocational School. Both Mr. and Mrs. Argue were acâ€" tive workers in various organizations and were always willing to give a. hblplng hand to every cause. Rev. and Mrs. Thompson Honoured at S.
