Shower in Honour of Brideâ€"Elect Miss Madeleine MacNamara Honoured ‘at Miscellanâ€" Miss Madeleine MacNamara, brideâ€" elect, was honoured at a miscellaneous shower Tuesday night at the home of Miss Margaret Hargreaves, 103 Elm street south. Miss MacNamara will become the bride of 2nd Lieutenant Roger Cowley, Petewawa, on June 20th ‘The scene of the shower was in the garden early in the evening while it was still daylight. â€"Flowers bordered the garden and card tables were set up and on each was a centre piece of Iris. After lunch was served, a basket, done in pink and white was brought out, and the brideâ€"toâ€"be opened all her gifts. She received a lovely assortment of gifts and thanked her friends for their thoughtfulness.
