Tommy Bonnah, stalwart of The Adâ€" vance team for the past two seasons, had little difficulty taking the singles title. His singles mark was scored on riday night it wasn‘t till late Saturday night that any of the singles seores started to threaten him. A cocky band of Frenchmen from the McIntyre entered the tournament on Saturday and â€"took the lead in the team event. Their lead was held for only a short time though, for early in the afternoon Rice‘s Noranda gang topped them by almost two hundred pins. Fddiegq Rice‘s Noranda team walked off with the major prize at the‘second anmnual tournament of the Northern Ontario and Quebece Rowling Associaâ€" tion held in Timmins on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of last week. The tournament is the most surcrcessâ€" ful that the young organization has yet held and it is expected that Timâ€" ming will get next year‘s tournament.
