(Daniel 2: 29, 21) A Cordial Welcome to All United Church Cordial Welcome Fopr All On Monday two prisoners eszcaped from internment campsâ€"one in Norâ€" thern Ontario (at least not in Southern Ontario) and the other from a Nonthâ€" weskern Ontario internment camp. The latter prisoner was a civilian. The other, as will be noted elsewhere in this issue, has been recaptured at Montreal. He made his escape through a tunnel 100 feet long. It is understood this was built by the work of a group of ‘prisoners who intemded to escape tcgether, ‘but the man who got away is said to have doubleâ€"crossed the others. The tunnel was supported by wood stolen arcund the camp. There was a homeâ€"made radio set found hidâ€" den after the escape. Follawing the two escapes a new system of guardâ€" ing the prisoners has ibeen started, sentry work being largely replaced by guards walking around with the prisâ€" oners. All prisorers will be kept under the notice of the guards at all times.
