Dietrich, who has resided for the past two years at 183 Hammond Street in this city, couldn‘t give an explanation of his mad actions, other than to say "I wanted to see what a tie would do on the tracks." Magistrate J. H. McCurry, before whom the young man appeared Saturâ€" day morning, remanded him until Deâ€" cember 8 for trial, in custody. "I cannot understand what would make a boy of that age do what ‘he did." the magistrate commented. "Fither he has the mentwlity of a child or there is something in the background to account for his actions." The magistrate urged that police make a thorough investigation of the youth‘s history and life surroundings. He is of German descent, While aâ€" waiting trial he will be given a thorâ€" ough examination. South Porcupine, Ont. (Missouri Synod) Rev. E.
