The happy and carefree evening was a joy to those who attended, and all eagerly jcoined in the many dances. There were spscialty dances such as Parl Jones, and when the corchestra, cocmpcosed of Messrs. Peter Boychuk, Harvey Perron and Paddy Quinn, was not giving out tuneful melodies, the radio or gramaphone would dGdo the honours. Singâ€"song, which seems to add something to every getâ€"together, was heartily enjoyed, and a lovely lunch was served by Misses Semchison and Geraldine Turscotte. Miss Semâ€" chison had also prepared scuvenir noâ€" velties which she distributed to the young ladies and gentlemen. Adding another surprise to the surprise party, the guest of honour, Miss McCulloch, wias presented with a beautiful fitted agropack, which will keep her friends in mind when she is far away. Those who were present at the very enjoyable event were: Misses Brodie Brisbhois, Katie Burke, Winnie Aitkinâ€" son, Maizie Newton, Grace McQuarrie, Gwen Webb, Madge Webb, Thelda Stevenson, Rose Martin, Geraldine Turcotte, Irene Salley, Margaret Easâ€" ton, Diane Melville, Jessie O‘Brien, Sal: Paprika and nutmeg 1 cup thin cream â€" ege yolks 2 tablespoons sherry Remove meat from shell and cut in cubes. There‘s no need to be without the great convenience of elecâ€" tric refrigeration because this modern method will actually pay for itself in food savings. Cecil Opie, Canaâ€" dian National Railways checker, heard plaintive cries from within a box car grain laden which had arrived from St. Louis. The car being in bond it was necessary to obtain authorization of United States customs officials to break the seals and open the doors. Fermission being given, the doors were cpencd and officials found two scraggly kittens. They were fed, adopted and named "Ale" and ‘‘Porter" bacause their first feast of milk was served from an ash tray advertising these brewery products. Senda for this latest Bartno Bookle} No. 108 which discusses this interesting As acne comes on at puberty, 13 to 16 years of age, most physicians now agree that the symptoms are due to some gland change which affects the oil in the little oil glands of the skin. It becomes thick and hard and so cannot caps readily to the surface of the skin thrcugh the little hole. As the oil gradually accumulates in the gland and cannct escapse, the gland enlarges, the oil, now a hard mass, becomes inâ€" fecied. Some pimples contain just the hard oil while oth2ars contain pus.
