Temagami Resident Dies in His Eightyâ€"Sixth Year Patriarch of the Indians of the region Peter Missabi was‘"the "grand old man" of (Bear Island. He lived on Lake Temagami â€"long before the arrival of white men, at a time when supplies were brought by water routes from Lake Nipissing.
