Highâ€"Grade Samples from Weeks‘s Run of the Press There are large numbers of cases of the prevalent influenza in Timmins at the present time. In some cases whole families have ben laid up for few days with the disease. While the type of the diseases is considered . mild one, the sufferers are very ill while the attack Jlasts, a high temperature being one of the special attributes of the disease at present. Staffs at busiâ€" ness houses in town are reduced these days in many cases by the prevalent "flu.‘"‘ that there have been a number of deaths in the camp from the disease are not accurate: There have been several deaths in town and viciniâ€" ty in the past few days but in pracâ€" tically all cases the death has not been due to the "flu," though in cone or two cases the disease may ‘have been a contributing factor. The advice of the doctors in cases of the "flu" is to go to bed and stay there till the attack passes. If this is done there is no serious danger thcough the attack will be unpleasant under the best circumâ€" stances. The best advice in cases of the "flu" seems to be to go to bed and secure the services of a doctor, taking care of the health until the attack is well passed.
