With the basement complete and the studding for the first floor and the steel beams for a second floor already in place, the hotel, located about a half mile from the station, is also rapidly assuming shape. Railway commission, the sale of townsite lots at Moosonee, the terminus at James Bay of the railway extension. has been set for Friday of this week, June 10th. The sale of lots is scheduled to comâ€" mence at 10 a.m. This announcement was made after a meeting last week of the commission, those present at the meeting being Geo. W. Lee, chairman, Lt.â€"Col. L. T. Martin, viceâ€"chairman, and Col. J. I. MacLaren, commission. The announcement said that the block of 200 to 300 business and reâ€" sidental sites will be made by public auction. A special train was run to day (Thursday) from Cochrane to Movoâ€" sonee to take prospective buyers to the new townsite for the sale. The special train leaves Cochrane toâ€"day at 12 midnight and will arrive at Moosonee at 8 a.m. toâ€"morrow (Friday). The return train is to leave at 4 p.m. toâ€" | morrow, or whenever the sale is over. From the number of enquiries that have | already been received it is exprcted thatâ€"sale of â€"the 10tsâ€"will not take very long to complete.
