The booklet, which is now available for distribution, deals extensively with the mineral resources of the Dominion both metallie and nonâ€"metallie and points out that: ‘‘The value of our mineral production ‘has risen from less than $23 â€"million to over $241 million in 1926 ; our waterpower development, the potent foree behind our mining, pulp and paper and general industrial development, has risen from a few thousand horse power to 4.556.,000 New Canadian National Railways‘ Publication Deals With Deposits from Coast to Coast Across Dominion. afTS FORTH THE MINERAL REGOURCES OF CANAD) pI on : and Dewar, George H., literature, C.; British history, 4‘_’., geometry, I.; phyâ€" sies, 45. The car while here attracted much attenâ€" tion. It â€"had travelled all the way by road from the far southern continent, and reported the Ferguson highway as a very satisfactory piece of road, all things considered. The car came through to Cobalt last week from the south, and on the opening of the road through from Swastika to Ramore was able to come through. Timmins, Iroâ€" quois Falls and Cochrane were visited by the tourists from South America who were delighted with the country here and expect great development in this North Land in the years to come. They were of the belief that the Ferâ€" guson highway will be the real making of this North Land, attracting tourists here and thus bringing attention to this country that is sure to result in investments and consequent developâ€" ment of the great resources here. the foregoing as to the nature of the forâ€" mation of the Archean Shield, it is, indeed, probable that phenomenal disâ€" coveries will continue to be made from time to time. It must be borne in mind that is present only a minimum of work has been done by men who have, more or less, rapidly covered the counâ€" try contiguous to its waterways.‘‘ MOTOR CAR HERE FROM PERU, SOUTH AMERICA Young, Eugene, composition, literature, 43; British history, C.;: gebra, 23; geometry, 39; physics, algebra, III.; physics, III.
