Manaton, 55 Munro Park |avenue, Foronto, formerly secretary of the Consolidated West Dome Lake Mining Co. The accused was arrestâ€" ed at the office of the Ventura Realty Corporation. The arrest was made on two charges, one being the alleged isâ€" suing of. false statements and false documents. The police laid_ the charges, after consultation with the Chief Crown Attorney. The charges are understcood ta arise out of the alâ€" leged overâ€"issue of the capital stock of the Consolidated West Dome Lakes Mining Company. There has been an overâ€"issue of about 1,900,000 shares above the authorized capital stock of $5,000,000. _ The stock was issued and sold to brokers, and returns were made Ito the provincial secretary‘s deâ€" partment showing that $5,000,000 shares had been sold at $1 apiece, but did not show, it is claimed, that over $1,9000,000 had been issued above the authorized stock.
