THE KIND AMENTION OF T. N. 0. 18 REguESTED B tter Accommodation Could Be Givâ€" en the Public at Porcupine> Station. Komplaint has been made recently B tive to the opportunity being misâ€" sed by the T. N.0. Railway to give better service to the public using Golden City Afor pienic and summer resort purposes. Un Sunday a group of passengers, chiefly women and children, were approaching the station :g.cake shelter from the sun when the or was closed and they were inâ€" formed that they would not be allowâ€" ed the use of the station until twenty minutes before train time. If the T. N.O. Railway has any regulations to this effect, the railway should ge out its ~biggest engines and run through and over such â€" regulations. The T. N.O. is, or should be, the People‘s Railway, and ready to acâ€" commodaté the public in any way at any time, especially if it does not cost anything extra. _ The Advance belâ€" lieves that Chairman Lee and the other Commissioners are desirous of giving the very limit of service to the public. They have at least always shown such a disposition. _ In this cease there does not seem to be any reason why the people should not have the benefit of the use of the railway station.~ Why limit the use of the â€" station to *‘twenty minutesl before train time?"‘ People at (Golâ€" den City, and especially women and children, find the use of the station of much advantage. It is a shelter from the sun and rain while waiting ‘for trains. ~Women and children esâ€" pecially <do not care to take any chances about missing a train and so are not. always able to arrange to reach the station ‘"‘twenty minutes before train time.‘‘ â€"â€" Accordingly it would be an accomodation to have the station open for use. It was built for use . Is there any valid reaâ€" son why it should not be open for the convenience of the public? .0.......0000.....‘. -nooroopoouoopoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooozo o? w y s * .*, .....’.0...00......““1441441- .»0’00000;.00 000‘."0.00‘.0.’0‘".00.0’00:0’00:0000000000'00 0000'00000’00000:0000000000000000000000'00000000.
