Toronto peo According to a paragraph in the last issue of The Northern Muiner, inâ€" ecoyporation is hbeing completed of the Anderson Gold Mines, Limited, a 3, 000,000, $1 par value share company, to develop the Anderson claims east of Bourkes station, north of the Kirkland Lake district. Itis said that Mr. Geo. GEO. GRAY TO BE MANAGER OF ANDERSON GOLD MINES *‘*The mining industry in Can@da toâ€" day is in a thoroughly sound and Ihealthy condition, and will very well repay the attention of British investâ€" ors, who at present, unfortunatelyâ€"â€" with rare exceptionsâ€"are not at all aâ€" live to the developments that ane takâ€" ing place and the opportunities which present themselves. ~This want of apâ€" preciation was very marked recently in the case of Keeley‘s, which tempâ€" orarily fell on the declaration of a dividend at the mate of 24 per cent.per annum. The mine is in very much ‘better position toâ€"day than it was six ,rmonflhs ago, as important ore ‘bodies have ‘been found at some distance from the present workings, and the recent recoveny and rise in the market was due to Canadian and not British apâ€" preciation of this investment opporâ€" tunity. Too much altogether has been made by ifinancial writers of a coupie of fixscos in Canadian mining companâ€" ies. The disappointment in both cases is due to the same cause, viz., the absense of an independent engiâ€" neen‘s report before British capital was invested. In neither case shou‘d these fiascos be attributed to Canadiâ€" an mining per se, which is now as well organized and scientifically diâ€" rected as in any part of the world. We are sorry that the London Finâ€" ancial Times, whoge diatribes against the Ontariq Department of Mines we recently dealt with, continues to deâ€" mand an investigation of Porupineâ€" Davidson quarrel by the Ontario Govâ€" ernment, and threatens a boycott on the part of British investors if its deâ€" mand is not carried out. ‘*Canada,"‘ the illustrated weelk‘y journal published at London, England, in a recent issue has a very interesting editorial in regard to the mining inâ€" dustry in Canada. MINING INOUSTRY 1N oOUNO CONDITION Fil1 ‘De in Charge. n the company are mining give you strength. This is the wa; Mr. Collins felt before he took Car nol. He says,â€""I was in a run dowr condition. For six months, I wa: _very weak and suffered from loss 0| appetite. I tried all kinds of drus: I thought might possibly bring reâ€" lief, but without success. Then | met a friend. After stating to hi my condition of health I referred tc diiferent drugs I had taken without benefit. Then he advised me to try Carnol immediately. He told me not to spend another cent for useâ€" less drugs that would not even bring temporary relief. Then I purchased one bottle of Carnol which relieved me of my weakness. After tal:ing three bottles the blessings of health, which I formerly enjoyed, were again restored to me. As a builder and uplifter when weakening condiâ€" tions exist, there is nothing equal to Carnol. I can boast of my hcalth now. I cannot express or find words to praise Carnol for all the good it has done for me. I have proof of what it can do and advise all suffecring under such conditions to give Carnol the first trial. A trial convince you and if continued will bring perâ€" manent relief. It will bring back to ou tthe lost health you once enâ€" joyed."â€"Mr. R. G.
