For several months the late Louis Decicco was a member of the Timimins Citizens‘ Band. At the regular monthly meeting of the Timmins Citizens‘ Band last week Mr. F. J. Woino, Bandmaster of Timmins Citizens‘ Band, this week went to the St. Mary‘s Hospital here for an operation hernia. The operation was successfully performed yesterday and Mr. Wolno is now well on the way to recovery. It is expectâ€" ed that he will ‘be able to leave the hospital, fully recovered, in the course of the next few days. FINES AND JAIL TERMS FOLLOW RAID IN MONETA Schumacher At Police Court here last week fines and jail terms were apportioned to the men and women found in the house in Moneta the previous Sunday evening when the place was raided by the police. Grace Donato, charged with being the keeper of a disorderly house, was fined $100,.00 and costs. Agnes Paqeau, for <frequenting, was fined $25.00 and â€" costs. lumnstine Bouchard, another girl charged with being a frequenter, did not appear for trial. Her bail of $50.00 was esâ€" treated, and bench warrant issued. Five men, all from were fined $20.00 and costs for being freâ€" quenters.
