r l‘ U th Friday evening last was ‘‘Ladies‘ Night‘‘ at the regular meeting of the Caledonian Sociegw of Timmins, the programme for the occasion being in the very efficient charge of a commitâ€" tee of ladies, including Mrs. A. Robâ€" erts, (Mrs. M. B. Seott, Mrs. D. Mackie, Mts. J. K. Moore, Mrs. Patrick and Mrs. G. A. Macdonald. After two new members had been welcomed into the Society and the regular business of the evening transacted, the meeting was taken over iby the ladies, Mrs. D. Mackie presiding in very efficient and pleasing way. Among the items of business before the meeting was the report of the Committee relative to the Burns Bangquet.
