Mrs. Melntyre is being treatâ€" ed in a hospital, her legs having been badly frozen. Mr. iMelntyre and the baby, while suffering from exposure are not in as serious a condition as Mrs. Mcelntyre. When the boat sank the parents were compelled to leap into the water and cling to large cakes of ice. Melntyre, grasping the baby, managed to crawl on a solid cake, but Mrs, Melntyre was not sg fortunate. Mrs Vailloncourt suffered from eancer and a few days before her death pneuâ€" monia developed which hastened thne end. Mrs. Vailloncourt had been a resident of North Bay for a couple of months, coming there from Englehart to reside with her daughter, Mrs. Walsh. â€" The late (Mrs. Vailloncourt was born at (Mount St. «Patrick some 62 years ago.
