Jemmett, the presidâ€" ent of the Society, gave a hbrief but comprehensive report of the good work heing done by the C. A. 8. in Temiskaming. He referred in appreâ€" crative terms to the canvassers for the Victory Loan in the Haileybury and Cobalt district who had contribut ed their commissions to the C. A. S. branch. These commissions for the past two years had totalled_ over $2,000.00,â€"a very material financial nelp to the Kociety. Mr. Jemmett alâ€" so. touched on Vm necessity for more hearty support/for the C. A. 8. work from the Provincial Government.
