It shall be lawfut for the Chairâ€" man and the Treasurer of said Board of Trustees of the Roman Catholic Separate School for the Town of Timâ€" mins to raise by way of loan upon the security of the Debentures hereinafter mentioned, from any person or perâ€" sons, bhody or bodies corporate who may be willing to advance the sum upâ€" on ‘the credit of such Debentures a sum of money not exeeeding in the whole the sum of $15,000.00 and to cause the sum to be paid into the hands of the said Treasurer for the purpose and with the object above reeited. 2. The said Debentures shall bear interest at the rate of six per cent. per annum from the date thereof, which interest shall be payable yearly in cach and every year during the curâ€" reney thereof at the same time and at the same place where the said Debenâ€" tures are made payable. 5.. The Chairman and Treasurer of said Board may cause the said Debenâ€" tures or a sufficient amount thereof to be sold or hypothecated and the proceeds thereof after providing for the discount, (if any) and the expense and negotiations of sale thereof shall be applied for the purpose above speci fied and for no other. the purpose of paying e amount due n each of the said years for principal and interest in respect of such debt as shown in Schedule ‘*A‘"‘ hereto attached and such sum shall be a charge upon and shall be deducted from anvy moneys raised and levied 7. The Debentures to be issued hereunder shall contain a proviso in the following words:â€"‘*‘This Debenâ€" ture or any interest thereunder shall not, after a certificate of ownership has been endorsed thereon by the Treasurer of the said Board, be transâ€" ferable except by entry of the said Treasurer in the Debenture Book of the said Separate School Board."‘ or to the like effect. 8. This Byâ€"law shall take effect on aiud after the passing thereof. Dated at the Town of Timmins, this 3rd day of September, 1918.
